I'd just arrived at Resorts International Hotel in Atlantic City, and I call Jackie's suite to touch base and figure out when we would start shooting. I was told he was down- stairs eating in one of the restaurants. Since it was brunch time, I headed straight for the deli, and there he was, seated with a group of his friends. The first words out of his mouth were, "Hi, have a seat. You're not a Jew, are you? What kind of a € name is Grace?" Actually, it was a very pleasant brunch, with Jackie holding court, delivering one funny line after another. Afterward, a few of us went MENU
